Resource Usage and PlanningMonash University shall take into account the following when evaluating the provision of educational and information technology services both within faculties and through central service provision:

Faculty Level Support and CommunicationEducational technology planning at faculty level should:
Cooperation and communication between faculties on educational technology activities and developments requires the establishment of a senior University Committee to manage, promote and monitor collaborative activities and to formulate appropriate policies to enhance quality teaching and incorporate best practice in educational technology. This could either be a new committee of an appropriately expanded existing committee. Both the University and faculties of the University should adopt and implement the widest possible range of approaches and techniques to encourage staff to become involved in the use of educational technology. Appropriate Use of Educational TechnologyFaculties shall retain autonomy in determining a design for educational technology. Each Faculty has its own way of teaching and flexibility has advantages. PurposeThe objective of this policy is to outline factors for evaluating information and educational technology at Monash.
